Open enrollment begins in November for a January 1, 2009 effective date. Each active member receives in the mail information regarding the opportunity to change your plan selection. In the event you are not eligible for Trust benefits during an annual open enrollment period, you may change your plan selections as of the date you re-establish eligibility, provided you were eligible for the eligibility quarter preceding and the eligibility quarter after the Open enrollment period. Plan changes cannot be made at any other time unless you move out of your current HMO's service area.

All new or reinstated eligible's must enroll in an HMO plan unless they reside outside an HMO service area until the next scheduled open enrollment period.
